Yeah I'm on linkedin, just got myself a new job (not via the site) and it helped as my new employer knew someone I'd worked with before, so I already had a foot in the door.
If you have lots of people moving in and out of companies (ie contracting) all the time it's good to be on there to keep in touch and use their contacts.
NB: If your CV is up to date and labelled well you can use it to make your profile in about 2 mins...

I've been on there for a while, it's good following (stalking) people from job to job to maintain relationships, but that's it really. Business development through the site is pretty much crap, so there isn't much potential revenue value to it.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Im gonna get myself on it, got an exam end of month so going to leave it till then so the CV looks a vit more impressive.
