I have a HW that fights for me, he was 270, I took him down to 225, he was better, faster, more Agile that bigger guys....

So whats the advantage to the big guys in the ring, if you have a HW that weighs a tad less, then fight the fight like a small heavy should....Stick and move, tire your opponent out and dont get tied up...

Leave the divisions the way they are, if anything, remove some of them and get rid of all these belts and S***....It all is weighing down the sport of Boxing!!!

Good Luck

Totally. I especially think that some of the really light divisions, like the bottom 3 or 4 do need to get unified, as it is ridiculous that the Minimumweight division can have a number of champs from only 250 pro boxers around the world (boxrec stats), while in the heavies, there is nearly 5 times as much competition with nearly 1,200 fighters in the division.

With only one or two 'World' belts, then at least that would give it some credibility for the holders of those belts, but if it were to be reduced then I think the rules on mandatory challenges for those fight should be more stringent, also with more fights among the top fighters to get those top seeds for that mandatory spot, which would certainly liven up the divisions, because if they wanted to be considered as a contender, they would have had to have beaten some of the ranked fighters in the division.
