Dirrell beat Abraham with his footwork. Abraham himself admitted he was too slow in the fight - he's been working on moving his feet faster for the Froch fight (not that he needs to be quick against Froch).

Im not a hater of Carl Froch at all, i think he's exciting fighter and is willing to fight anybody. But just because he's British i don't totally erase his flaws from my mind, and claim any old bullshit like HTH does.

The fact is many people believe he lost to Andre Dirrell, Carl Froch didn't "whoop" or "whip" anyone.

A whooping is James Toney vs Iran Barkley/Joe Calzaghe vs Jeff Lacy.

Carl Froch vs Andre Dirrell was a messy/untidy fight, with not alot of action. But Andre Dirrell was able to make it his kind of fight, and Carl Froch struggled to land anything meaningful and was outboxed.

Against Mikkel Kessler he was outworked/outhustled, if the fight was in any doubt. Mikkel Kessler won the last round to seal the deal, he won the fight. With a good steady body/head attack.

Against Jermain Taylor he was behind going into the 12th round by atleast 3 rounds, anybody who had Carl Froch ahead. Is a clueless moron, it was a good win for Carl Froch. But to say he didn't need a KO in the last round is utter rubbish.

but heres one thing I feel very very strongly about and it has nothing to do with nationality, If dirrell had of been given the decision against froch it would have been an absolute tragedy and a very bad thing for boxing as a whole. I honestly believe the fight should have been stopped after a few rounds or dirrell at least get a very harsh warning. thousands of fans had paid a lot of money to be at the fight and to watch it on pay per view and they didnt pay that money to watch someone run a hold and generally spoil

Whether or not Andre Dirrell spoiled or was boring means jack shit, if he derserved to win he deserved to win end of. I mean what did Carl Froch do really himself ? yes he come forward but it has to be effective aggression. Carl Froch was just walking slowly forward throwing the odd punch and being rough on the inside.

But he wasn't landing effective punches, and he looked totally frustrated. Infact Andre Dirrell was the one that was able to rock Carl Froch in the 11th round. He was also able to keep the distance and outbox Carl Froch.

Yes it wasn't pretty, i never said it was. But just because Andre Dirrell was boring, doesn't mean he didn't deserve to win. I think most fans feel Andre Dirrell won by a few rounds.

And just for the record i don't like Andre Dirrell, and i'd rather Carl Froch win over Andre Dirrell any day of the week. But the way i scored it RBR, and the way most fans scored it. They had Andre Dirrell as the winner.

boxing probably lost a number of half and half fans following that fight and if boxers were allowed to win world titles with those tactics it would loose many many more
