Just my $0.02, but I would go with one or the other, rather than have them exist side by side. Reps seem almost meaningless since the switchover to be honest.

thing is mate say 3-5 years down the road and the maker of this this modification decides he aint making it anymore then we will be back to square one.

i'm not saying that will happen but it might... where as the rep system is part of the forums official package so we wont lost that ever unless i change the software used to run the forum.

the sad clicks is really just a nostagic addition as i know you guys loved it and have only been able to add it now because it never exsited before. ((i don't make these modifications i just add them when i find them))

so i really need to make the rep system more of an overall score.... rep+CC+post+time as member-sad clicks etc etc etc as the overall rating.

just incase we lose the CC system again when the software gets updated and the modification developer gives up on the + - modification.

I agree. I don't care about the reps point system, but the ability to slip a quick message is very convenient.
