Yeah, I reckon his defence was shite to be honest. His offence was awesome though. His opponents were to busy thinking of that to just let their hands go. He used the ropes more and more as the years went by but the competition never really went up. Glen Kelly is a good example. He was a nothing really and Jones knocked him out, from the ropes. Even Woods, most of Jones fight was off the ropes. His hands still had the speed to get away with it. Its only when he juicedto get up to fight Ruiz and had to come back off, that Tarver pushed him to fight. Again off the ropes then when Tarver had absolutely no respect for him did he just walk right through him in the rematch
