Both look very decent fighters, seems a bit like Groves v Degale, very good prospect.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Yes I agree I actually compare it to Pirog v Jacobs two unbeaton fighters who on paper have fought no one near as good as each other, these fights need to be made, if I was Warren and was so confident of Brook I would put him on the Pac bill v Jones much more exposure, but we wll know there is more chance of ICE telling us where he use to box.![]()
Jones will win he is the better swimmer.
What is going on with Warren recently? He's stopped protecting fighters and is chucking them in the ring with some real tough fights.
As a fan I'm not complaining, but it does seem a little odd. Maybe he's preparing to bow out the game in a few years and is cashing in now? (I doubt it I know)
Any of you guys seen much of Jones ?
I think if he is good he will easily Ko Brook whos chin is to high and he hasnt taken any big punches yet , but ive seen signs Brook is chinny , but at least its a good matchup.
I watch with interest.
This isn't going to happen. Not least because Top Rank aren't even Jones' promoters, it's Russell Peltz, the guy who has traditionally promoted all the Philly fighters, he just has a 'relationship' with Top Rank whereby Jones fights on their bills & they take a percentage.
Regardless, I believe he's already said that unless the offer to fight Brook was astronomical, it makes a lot more sense to get HBO exposure on a Manny Pacquiao card than to fight Brook in England. Probably better for Brook because if the Jennings fight is any indicator, then Jones is well ahead of him. Even if his opponents may not look it on paper, they're of a fair higher standard than Brook's imo.
I reckon Brook should try to make a fight with Clottey, we've seen the blueprint of how to beat him, plus he's a big name off the Pac fight & given how he performed there, I doubt he's got many options on HBO
