Humberto Soto to face Urbano Antillon on Latin Fury!

per boxrec.com, humberto soto is scheduled to face urbano antillon on december 4th, on the chavez jr./gomez undercard. this should be a good fight as i believe it's about time soto faces somebody legit. i don't think antillon will be able to beat him but at least he will be a tougher opponent than that soto has been feasting on. soto by UD.

I just screamed like a little girl...well not really . Ive been itching for this for over a year but Antillons propensity to digest uppercuts is concerning. Soto has better mobility I believe and deep experience. Dont see it going 12 hate to say. Love Antillon much but think they'll engage more and more, some soild exchanges,Urbanos body attack is fierce but see Soto getting the better at long range and keeping smart inside early. Pistol to head....I think Soto gets late round tko. Wah. Both are very willing and it will show!

Hell yea! I'm a big fan of both guys but especially Antillon. Antillon was supposed to fight Rios too, I would have liked to have seen that.

This is gonna be good, both like to square up and brawl it out. I think Soto is more durable and will eventually put Antillion on queer st. I dont think Antillion will try and use movement, which is the key to beating Soto. Soto spent the whole Guzman fight following Guzman around like a dog, never cutting off the ring.

I think Antillon is one of the hardest hitters in boxing though, I'm not sure Soto can afford to stand around in the dude's wheelhouse. No matter what this will be fun, hopefully it comes off! I believe it was rumored once before too.

This could easily be the heck of a fight for something playing on Latin Fury, the kind of fights you would want in any undercards of quality.

IMO Soto is on the slide and is there for the taking, if Antillon doesn't get it done, i'm pretty sure Guerrero, Marquez, Katsidis, or even Funeka will

yeah, i agree that humberto soto is on the downside and there for the taking but i don't think antillon can do it. months ago, antillon was scheduled to fight brandon rios but it was cancelled because rios got hurt. i think rios KO's both antillon and soto. i am really super high on this kid brandon rios. the way he methodically broke down his last opponent was impressive as hell. i guarantee that when he does get his title shot, he'll become world champion.

one opponent for brandon rios that would give me an absolute woody would be katsidis. that would be a friggin' FOTY candidate!
