I bet you anything that her 'publicist' is Max Clifford. That pointless, exploitative snake has a standard operating method of getting his marks to claim that they never wanted to go public (like it was the press's fault that they ran the story), then saying that they want to put the record straight and defending the person they have ruined.

It's deceitful, two faced ....... and then they get paid for two interviews and they can draw the story out for longer, thus getting paid even more money to humiliate someone in a low quality newspaper.
