Default Gavin Rees made John Murrays no.1 for the Euro belt

Finally either way John will fight someone who will give him a good test about bloody time

Now there is a good chance that Murray will vacate and fight Daniel Estrada in a final eliminator, either fight will be good fight maybe he could get Rees in before the fight with Estrada.

His contract is up in next few days with Fat Mick, hopefully he signs with Warren and he can kick start his career.

Dark Lord rates Gavin Rees, I personally think Murray will batter the hell out of him.

Whilst I hate Warren, I would love to see Mitchell v Murray.

I think Gavin Rees is a decent fighter and has held his own against decent fighters at a higher weight, I think John has the edge but Rees will deffo be the best fighter by a distence Murray has fought so if he does batter him will be impressed.

Rees has gone back to fighting bums since his Prizefighter win, this should be another big step up for him. What we do know is that he has a high workrate from the Mbaye fight, and plenty of heart from the Kotelnik fight, but I still reckon Murray will batter him.

Yes Rees was Wales' 10th world champion (-ish), but I think Murray is significantly better.

I think Rees is very under rated his Prize fighter win and the way he dispatched every fighter with relative ease all decent fighters. Jason Cook has since gone on and got a draw with The British Champ Lenny Daws, he easily beat maybe a bit past it Colin Lynes but he beat him easily. Like I say the way he beat them guys in that event was very impressive.

Rhun you also say he has been beating bums, I just think he hasn't been able to get a decent fight, look a little closer he battered Amoako in 3 rounds ( not a great fighter ) but only 4 months earlier gave Lee Mccalister the commanwealth champ nightmares and McCallister won in 12 in an ugly fight.

I honestly think Murray has his work cut out here, I use to rate John alot higher than I do but I have been watching some of his recent fights now and his style is great but I don't think he is all that, Rees is very live in this fight if it gets made.

I like Rees and I won a bit of money on him when he won Prizefighter. Lets not forget he held the World title Amir Khan now holds too. I actually think Rees could take Murray and cause something of an upset. Lets face it neither fighter will have to go out and find the other.

Murray, Mitchell and Rees all fighting each other could make for some great domestic fights over the next year or so.

if there is any chance of murray getting a big name american or someone in the top 5 that is well known in american then he probly should avoid rees and mitchell

rees is a tough man and it would be a clash of styles that i am sure would be entertaining but would murray really need a massive war just before a step into world class? one which he could loose?

and mitchell has the potential to outbox murray, that would be devastating to murrays carear seen as tho mitchells one step into world class was a failure

i think murray would beat them both but theres no point in him fighting them unless it can make a lot of money

Would be a craking fight, Rees ratta-tat bursts against Murray's constant pressure. Rees gets to much shit considering his only loss is to a genuine world-class 140lber.

    Agreed.

I think i'm going for Murray on this one. Not because he's unbeaten but because I think he's the bigger puncher.
