Who care if UFC would become bigger, as long as Boxing has a good niche and doesn't decrese too much it's all that matters. 2 different sports, 2 different produces.

Mma is a babe in the woods compared to boxing as far as the mainstream and staying power, enjoy the infancy because it too will grow to be an unruley and problem riden man child. Non the less boxing has spanned a century through massive shifts in technology and has survived market crashes, multiple world wars...and Don king.

We have more high caliber fighters and all around athletes then these other fight sports, the paydays for the elite are triple sometime 4 holod....I don't thinjk Liddell has ever made a 7 figure payday for a fight and this is a man who was the companies face...

Boxing is being shown on more Television stations these days...Anyone with basic cable can find boxing on at least 3 to 4 times a day...some recent some older but still on....PPV numbers are still paying out...We keep getting in more and more young fighters who could have done other things......

I will worry about the state of boxing as being faded when

    1. The only time I can see fights are at 3am in between infomercials

    2. World title bouts are being held at high school gym cards

    3. Don King is at the local Dept of Labor
