I'll only be celebrating the American one, as it's an excuse for time off work, eating until bursting and watching some foot-bawl! (Do you have a canadian thanksgiving day classic?) Either that or I didn't know there was a Canadian Thanksgiving until now, I'm sure you can guess which one it is!

I would think its origins have something to do with giving thanks for the harvest, like germany has a erntedankfest which literaly translates to harvestthankcelebration. And yes we all sometimes forget how good we have it for the most part and all fall victim at one point or another to being little whiny bit*hes basically.
