No the story I heard was he has gone off to another project called the HW factory where he and Oliver McCall train HW prospects in the hope of producing the next American HW champ. Apparently there was no hard feelings between him and Roach whatsoever!

No doubt Moorer has always had his faults. But cheater wasn't one of them. He wanted no part of the Wild Card gym when he saw Roach inject Pac in the butt. Roach shooting Pac up with steroids afterwards also bothered him greatly

Yeh I can see where Moorer would be on shakey terms with Roach...or vice versa. consider things too shifty.

Looks like Moorer has left the HW Factory. He's no longer listed as a trainer and this is the only article I can find where they even mention him as a trainer!

I thought it was that Moorer didn't get along with the fighters and none of the fighters liked him, or so it was explained in one of the 24/7 episodes.

To be fair VD, I think Roach takes a 'see no evil, hear no evil' approach to what his fighters do. I think he's aware that some guys may do it, but he simply sees it as his job to train them, the rest of it is their responsibility. Also before all the Pac-lovers get in a twist, I think this can be demonstrated by how he handled the James Toney thing, where Roach even said he suspected he was on something, but didn't say anything.

The fact that Pac didn't want a test made a lot of eyebrows to raise. Sure, it doesn't mean neither prove that he took something but to clear the air, he should have taken the test straight away. Now to accuse him without space room for interpretation of being a Peds user is quite exaggerate too and there is something to keep in mind: Him and Floyd have quite boosted egos and seem to like when things work their way, more or less, if I recall, at the end, Pac was ok with bloodtest 10 days prior to the fight but not more. Though I think it should be anytime, it was starting to look reasonable, especially if a test can be made after the fight. I could imagine Manny thinking: "who are you to tell me what to do and not do?" and refusing some of the terms solely on that. As for Roach, I am 100% convinced that he's not juicing his athletes but adopt a politics like the one Jaz mentioned, his job is to train and boost his fighter to the limit, the rest is not of his resort.

Moorer has always been a stroppy type of guy so it comes as no supprise.

You can put up with stroppy boxers because they at the end of the day is what boxing is all about but stroppy co trainers you can do with out.

I heard that roach was shagging moorers wife so moorer started spiking the boxers tea with roids to try and get roach in trouble, roaches fighters started performing better so he and moorer made up and moorer got a pay rise. Then the drugs scandal came out and a stresssed roach started shagging moorers wife again this time roided up himself, moorer decided to find a new job and a new wife

Of course he didn't. It would of been stupid of him. When junkies get arrested there dealer don't go around saying "he got the stuff me. Yes I'm the one who gave it to him". Roach is just preaching from the drug dealer handbook he keeps where his bible use to be. And he's following one of there main rules. Deny involvement.
