Casual Sex in the Cineplex – Sultans of Ping F.C. – Listen and discover music at Last.fm

Have a listen here. Who could dislike an album with such classics as Kick me with your leather boots, Lets go Shopping and wheres me jumper not to mention a song about Nigel Clough.

    Brilliant.

Missy likes the Sultans so think before you mock!

Some really nice albums in there, Mick. But it wasn't really that kind of thread. I've just noticed that my thread title has changed yet again though, so see how you made that assumption.

What on earth is going on with my title BTW? Which of you MOD's is playing silly buggers! I don't have the ability to change my own thread title and yet you can all sit there in your MOD castles in the sky doing it. It just isn't fair!

Not having a rant actually, I just like complaining!

If i'm getting the thread.... I name a band, and someone else says their 3 greatest albums,, but that was taken down to their 1 greatest album..

So to get this thread back on track after the Fleetwould Mac debacle mostly killed it off (mostly),,,,

    What is Metallica's greatest album

It's either Master of Puppets or And Justice For All imo.

Anyways their 3 greatest albums imo would be Ride the Lighting, Master of Puppets, And Justice For All.

Okay, what is Pearl Jam's 3 best?

Trouble is though Miles there's very few bands that make it past 3 albums, let alone bands who have produced enough albums for us to pick 3 of their best. I think the thread will run further if we're just picking the best of any particular artist.

I like Mick's list especiallly, very diverse. It's cool to see somebody who can list The Beatles in the same list as Tupac. I'd never consider downloading a Tupac album as it's personally not somethiing I'd be into, but now I might. If Mick can appreciate the merits of The Clash and Radiohead I'm sure I could do the same for Biggie Smalls....

On a personal level my favourite albums are, in no particular order:

Whatever People say I Am That's What I'm Not - Arctic Monkeys
Original Pirate Material - The Streets
West Pauper Lunatic Asulum - Kasabian
Never Mind The Bollocks - Sex Pistols
Oasis - What's The Story (Morning Glory)
Johnny Cash - The American Series

    Cheers! fella...
I'm very diveresed when it comes to music.

One morning I can wake up listening to some Country music like Patsy Cline by mid afternoon I'm listening to Oldies like Earth Wind & Fire then late afternoon I'm on Alternative like The Strokes and by night time I'm playing Hip Hop or Rap like Eminem.

Smashup introduced me to Kasabian a few years back.
I actually like them along with The Strokes, The Killers, Kings of Leon and Muse are some of my fav. bands.
    Artic Monkeys not really into.

    Some other stuff that I would recommend;
    Audioslave
    Gorillaz
    Franz Ferdinand
    HIM
    Modest Mouse
    MGMT
    Phoenix
    Saint Motel
    Incubus
    Third Eye Blind
