As far as I am concerned, it's another good step up and a good rung toward the belt.

Good step but. Hope Rubio didn't see Lemieuxs last fight....might go sheepish like he did vs Pavlik.
i've seen lemieux fight and i am very impressed with his power. however, i do think rubio has a chance of winning because of the experience factor. who do i think will win? lemieux! too young, too strong, harder puncher and on the way up. rubio is a good solid fighter but i don't think he's championship material.

Rubio tends to be open to the right hand as he was against Pavlik, IMO if Lemieux is patient and applies smart pressure keeping Rubio on the ropes and unloading with those massive rights, that he'll have a 5th - 6th round TKO win
just saw the lemieux/camacho jr. fight for the first time and man, this kid has nuclear power in both hands. however, against a good counterpuncher, he might struggle because he tends to go for the KO with most of his punches. a fight i would like to see is between lemieux and dominican republic's fernando guerrero who is also undefeated and packs a hard punch himself. great fight!

Rubio is a good step up for him. I checked again and although Lemieux is fighting again in December, it does not look like it will be Rubio then. It looks like they are trying to get it put together for February now.
