    Default cheating

There seems to be a lot of hate for margarito and perhaps rightly so

there is a history of cheating tho by boxers people seem to love

    toney, rjj, hollyfield, mosely

look at rjj,. he was unbeatable, did the change come when he was exposed?

im not trying to start a controvesial thread that might spark some heated debate but i would like to know people's thoughts on the drug cheats

Innocent Until Apprehended By The Relevant Parties And Proven Guilty*

However the above statement is deemed moot where the words 'Ripped' and 'Fuel' are used in conjunction.

it seems to me that margarito is being bombasted unmercifully by most forumers, and rightfully so. what he did was irreprehensible and in bad taste. but the man did serve his one year suspension and has been given a license to continue to earn a living, and rightfully so. but, where are all these forumers on the steroid cheats? where are they? and please don't tell me what margarito did was worse than steroid cheats because cheating is cheating in my book. i think this, most pundits on this forums are so overwhelmingly in love with pacquiao and have shamelessly indulged themselves with his kool-aid, that they will say anything and everything negative about margarito. that's okay because i was a margarito fan before the scandal and i will continue to support him wholeheartedly for this fight and beyond.

dude, apparently you have no idea of the concept of punishment fitting the crime. Murder and jaywalking are both illegal. Should they both have the same punishment? According to you, yes.

Steroid cheats? if caught should be giving a very stiff penalty, maybe even expulsion from the sport permanently. But more so, is loading your gloves with weapons that have been proven to help directly kill people Yes aka Billy Collins/Resto. That was this sports precendence for the bahaviour...and should have been enough of an example to let others know, never again.

    why is it worse?

i had a conversation with another member of the forum just the other day about the affects of steriods, I dont know what they are on a boxer but an average steriod user in the gym will gain 10 - 15% in strength during his steriod cycle

with the right drugs would a boxer be hitting 10-15% harder, and 10-15% faster?

steriod cheats have loaded gloves in my opinion

It depends. Would you rather be hit on the face repeatedly with a brick or by someone who is on steroids?

    youngblood,

should murder and attempted murder be given the same sentence? not according to many laws in the world!!!

look, it has never been proven that margarito has ever fought in the ring with loaded gloves. can you prove any instances where he did? he was caught attempting to fight with them.

now i ask you, where is the outcry from these forumers on steroid users?

Roy Jones used Ripp Fuel; which is not steroids. And it was only illegal in that weird little state that he fought in, and not even knew it was illegal at the time. So it is a little unfair to group him with the others.

Also Holyfield has never been caught using steriods(although there is mounting evidence that he probably did)
