I honestly think he did wait. George Groves in his post fight interview was saying theres a round Haye has told us all to bet on. It makes sense to me thats why he did nothing at all for 2 rounds then went ballistic in the 3rd going all out.

If he has the talent to pull out a win in a specific round then good luck to him I guess but it is a bit fishy betting on yourself for a specific round.
