Beckham was not good enough.

Terry, Lampard and Gerrard left their club form at home.

Robinson was not himself.

Hargreaves and Crouch tried their damnedest, but they are simply not good enough to do the jobs they were asked to do.

Rooney was clearly not fit.

But the real criticism belongs to the management. They were simply not up to the job, and it is a deep concern that a big part of that team is taking over as manager...

I totally disagree, Hargreaves tried his hardest but wasnt good enough?? He was by far the best player on the pitch from both teams.
Agreed, he was all over the pitch working his bag off. Lennon always looked good when he had the ball and running at them. Crouch is he anything more than a big lug for us to aim crosses at? I'm sorry you have to be able to do more that to make it don't you? Defensively they did us proud. They tried to pull us out wide and out of shape and they couldn't break us.

Yes it was wrong to take four strikers, two of which were not fit. Walcott? why? no offence to the lad but we can't afford to take baggage.

I'm tired of heroic defeats. If we can play as strong as we did with 10 men why can't we do it with 11.

I said one of us would get sent off and we did. I also reckon Rooney should have lamped ronaldo, he had already been sent off, with a bit of luck he could have taken him out as well, let's see you wink now.
