It would be a relative mismatch. Hatton at his best would steamroll Gatti, I really don't see how a case could be made otherwise. Gatti couldn't have kept up for long, he was a completely inferior fighter at 140. I'm sure it would have been fun to watch, but Gatti would really take a brutal beating to the body I think, and his moments would've probably been few and far between, if at all. Hatton wasn't another Mickey Ward, he was really quick on his feet and had a high output as well as being probably as good a body puncher.
