26 fights into his career Hatton was WBU LW champ and fighting at best 2nd tier opposition, Calzaghe was WBO champ, his best win coming against a bone dry Eubank, he'd never left the UK. Amir to be fair has achieved plenty in 23 fights. For what its worth at the same junction Wlad was 25-1, had won the WBC international title and had left Europe once. Vitali was streaks ahead having won the WBO title from Herbie Hide.
