Well it's always 1 more thing from the other camp, the Klitschko's have made contracts that the other camp has signed and since that "back injury" the other side has been making it more and more difficult to make the contract.
Klitschko wanted 2 opitions right? Well the dude signed to fight Valuev and that contract had 3 options. It's all posturing from the WBA title holder's side.
I found the youtube clip of what you're talking about.
Bernd wants 50/50 straight down the middle, hows that for public negotiations? Seems like Sauerland (go figure) is holding up the fight more than anyone else.
And that was the ONLY thing he could give a straight answer (and Booth didn't disagree) on the rest was politician speak. The thing that Booth made clear was really they want Wladmir first. that surprises me a bit because I actually think he is the better fighter at the mo.
The fact that they want Wladimir first was the only thing he said that made me happy as I am 100% certain Wladimir is going to put a hurting on that dude.
Listen the RTL vs ARD argument is ridiculous and the only reason it came up to begin with was because they don't want to give up 1 cent from the British PPV money. And Bernd said the difference between an RTL and an ARD contract is miniscule so why even bring it up if you're the other side unless you want to sabotage negotiations.
Personally I don't see why they should give up a penny of brit pay per view. People buy it to watch haye not klit. Let the brits have the brit money let the ukrainians have the german/ukrainian/russian/whatever money. But thats mypersonal opinion.
As I said before, Booth didn't disagree with a 50/50 split and seemed more than happy to talk publicly and show transparency.
Well it's not 50/50 if they get 100% of the British PPV money now is it?
After hearing about Sauerland having 3 options, I figure the WBA title holder has 1 more fight before fighting a Klitschko all I can say is just look at Valuev whom both Klitschko's offered to fight on several occasions and he never made the fight happen. Sauerland is a bad promotional group, they just keep fights from happening. After knowing about Sauerland's options I actually have a little less blame for the WBA title holder and his trainer/manager
