It's almost as bad as a political debate between Democrats and Republicans - line up all the reasons why the other guy sucks, why your guy is the best ever, blah blah blah.
Pacquiao is a phenomenal fighter. If you can't see that, objectively, then you're trying too hard to be critical. Is he a perfect boxer? No. Does he have flaws? Of course! Does that mean we should take every opportunity to point these out and deride his accomplishments?
...Apparently so.
In a little under two pages of this thread, there have been the following references:
Cock - 5
Dick - 4
Balls - 4
Penis - 1
It bears mentioning that "Pussy" and "Ass" have only gotten 1 mention each.
Just thought you'd all like to know.

Why does everyone suck manny's ***** .........
Because he is an all time great fighter, yes OK, but the real reasons:
How's that?
- He seems a pretty humble guy, no trash talking, never disrespects an opponent
- He is a happy-go-lucky sould, always smiling
- He wants to do something for others, outside boxing
- He will fight anyone, any place, any time. No dodging opponents, no easy fights
- He is a fighter through and through, loves a good tear up and will trade with anyone
- he fights guys much bigger than him but never steals a fight. Stands in range and trades, but wins through supreme speed, guts and technique. Most of all, his fights are fought on the edge - his style is daring, and he lets it all hang out
- He is a great great figheter full stop
If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?
Tito - I wasnt criticising PBF ..... I was saying whay I quite like Manny Pac.
If we want to talk about mayweather:
- he is a bit of an arse, too much trash talking, plays the sport for his own benefit (just like Ray Leonard did)
- but he is a magnificent fighter, never undertrains, fantastic technique and unearthly reflexes. Showed a good chin and a fighters heart against Mosely. I rate Floyd as one of the best fighters I have seen too.
If they get it on, it will be the biggest and best fight (and a proper fight, not some media hyped 'event') since Hearns/Leonard.

I realize you weren't criticizing Floyd, but I was. He may be great, but he does TOO much talking. He DOESN'T actively seek out the best fighters... he's been perceived as ducking some opponents... he definitely does NOT like a good scrap (he'd rather pose and "chess play" his way through fights)... he doesn't do anything good for anybody outside of boxing (even himself)... and the list goes on and on and on. Floyd's antics got tiresome a LO-O-O-O-N-G time ago, and frankly... some of us boxing fans have grown tired of it. He's pissing away his best years, and all he does is talk about how HE'S the rightful p4p. What a joke!
This is where a lot of folks would question him. I mean it's not like he has the final say in every fight he gets. Like the Raheem fight. We could all conjure up all sorts of ending for that fight but truth be told is boxing is still a business.
Manny is still a fighter, not the owner of Top Rank. He can't be expected to go up against people surrounding him who wants him to go redeem himself against morales. In fact, I seriously think manny doesn't give a damn if he loses to raheem if ever that fight had been made in lieu of a 2nd morales fight. He always says he wants to give people a good entertaining fight and that's what he's doing. It's a big part of him to go up banging against people willing to trade shots.
True, Manny is bothered by slick boxers. And up to this point I'm still sticking with pbf being a slight favorite if ever that fight happens. But be that as it may, Manny saying he wants to give people an exciting and bang for your buck fight, I would take that as it is. I seriously doubt manny is afraid of going toe to toe against any reasonably weighed fighter today. I think he's much more concerned being involved in a "non crowd pleasing" fight. All my opinions.
Pac would retire Roy. The best he could hope for would be a 12 round beating.
He doesn't have the speed, stamina or desire to beat Pac, if he takes the fight it will be for a pay day.
I'm not sure if Pac is as angelic as everyone says, have you seen his early loss? Looked to be a dive if ever I saw one!
Great fighter though, we are blessed to be able to have seen his career.
