Aside from financial reason, I think Mosely wants to go out as a proud warrior win or lose. He aint gonna retire with that mediocre performance against Mora.

That fight sucked hard, but I dont blame Mosley for it. he tried to engage at times. Mora just ran.

I will go to Vegas and bet Mosley. They can take Mosley for granted if they want to!!!

BTW, I thought Mosley got off the GBP team? If he did, and I believe he did, the fight is on!!!

I'll rather see Pacman fight Berto or Martinez, but what do I know. I'm picking Mosley!!!

Personally I would pick Mosley to land a few decent shots... Maybe the hardest Pac has taken in the last couple of years... And might even pick Mosley to look good for a round or two.. But unless Shane got a KO before the end of round 4, I really feel it would be another mercy job by Pac down the straight, not wanting to completely ruin Mosley's brain for his retirement...

Anyway, welcome to the forum buddy!! Hope you stick around...

Just thought I'd dig this up, with the not so big fight happening tomorrow.

November 5, 1994 Became the oldest undisputed Heavyweight and Linear Champion.

    George Foreman 46
    Michael Moorer 27

Big George went on to fight 4 more times earning 10 of Millions.

As long as Mosley believes in himself and can be competitive in the ring, who the hell is Freddie Roach to tell him he needs to retire?

BTW: I agree Mosley needs to retire.

A timely time to raise this thread. I have been highly critical of Mosley for a good while now and it has been deserved. It is hard to praise an ageing fighter who has stopped looking good. However, if you like a fighter then you have to support them when the big fight arrives. You can be critical, but when the fight comes around sentimentality does creep back in. Mosley is the sentimental favourite for this one and that's because of who he is and his past achievements rather than what he has been producing recently.

Maybe this is the point where Roach gets his wish, after saying that Mosley is past it and then fighting him regardless. It would be a dream scenario to see those words rammed back down the throat of Freddie Roach though. He pisses me off with his blatant contradictions and deception. There is nothing wrong with having strong views, but if you are going to contradict yourself all the time, you might as well keep your mouth shut.

I'm sure he'll stick around after tonights inevitable loss. He hopefully just for a couple of end on a high wins over lesser guys then calling it a day, I'd hate to see him dragging on for years like Roy Jones losing to guys way beneath him. He might have to tbhough his ex-wife gets about 5 grand a month off him just for clothes
