    Yep, me too.

I don't see 156,too high and too close to Martinez's comfort zone. Mayweather and Pacquiao are both faster, more versatile and better balanced than Martinez. Pavlik and Williams are not the same caliber is either of the top 2.

Williams got careless. He didn't adjust after the first round. He fought Sergio's fight.

I say Team Pac should fight Martinez at 154 asap.

Middle weight is 160 pounds. No more. No less.

If you can't fight at 160 pounds then it's not a middleweight fight and titles shouldn't be on the line.

If you want to fight a middleweight fight one without trying to drain them. Fight them at their optimum weight otherwise it's a bullshit handicap match.

If you want to fight at 154 that's light middleweight so fight someone in the light middleweight division AT 154 POUNDS!

martinez is right, it would be a mismatch. remember that martinez is in his physical prime, is bigger than pacquiao and has impressive handspeed. this wouldn't bode well for team pacquiao. this fight will never happen!

They are both too small...enough of these catchweights. Every good fighter in every division doesn't have to fight floyd or pac geeeezuussss.

Berto or Alexander/Bradley winner are also potential candidates. Unless you're telling me that they don't have speed or past their prime? Oh right, the excuse will be they were too green.

    bulldog,

of course alexander, berto or bradley would be great matchups for pacquiao!!! at least pacquiao would be fighting opponents who can almost match his handspeed. i never said they weren't! and FYI, i was commenting that martinez would be too big for pacquiao and it would be a mismatch. no way in hell pacquiao beats him.

i'd much racher see Alexander/Bradley at 140 than some handicap match.

You do know that Williams got a catchweight (15 for this fight too, right?

i agree though, enough with the catchweight bullshit, and not only for Manny, if you wanna fight a bigger guy for a challenge well then fight the bigger guy where he can be a challenge which is his actual weight, if Pacquiao wants to fight Martinez for HIS Middleweight title, well let it be at 160

This fight shouldn't happen, Martinez is too big for Manny. He's a middleweight ffs, Manny can just about get up around 147. I'd rather him fight Berto or Bradley if a Mayweather fight doesn't happen
