All fighters need a second pair of eyes on their fights to help them see things that they might not be able to see, and to help them adjust very quickly.
And not enough fighters have the smarts or the faith in their corner to ask "What do I do?" and then the skill and courage to follow through with that advice. I will give Floyd mad props for that he's a very smart fighter which he probably doesn't get enough credit for, most people get impressed by his talent, but he's very smart, very cagey too for such a slick fighter.
