    He's just not very fashionable.

Don't really know why, he loves a brawl

Anyways should be a good fight.
Froch gives the most brilliant interviews out of any British boxer. I don't understand why he isn't more talked about. Khan, Haye, Harrison? None of these people fight the fighters that Froch does nor gives an interview with the same level entertainment.

Honestly, I don't understand why those other muppets get more attention. Froch is the real deal, whereas they are all hype jobs and frauds. Why can't the focus be on something real for once?

Watching Froch is just too bizarre, what in the world is he thinking about in the ring?

Though I am not a huge Froch fan, you can't hate the guy that much, he fought some of the best available and gives normally a decent show in the ring. I simply think that he's matched with the wrong promoter. Thus said, I am fairly sure Abraham will get the win but it doesn't mean that Froch ain't a good boxer and a fierce warrior.

Exactly, the guy is matched with the wrong promoter. It's a shame that the guy is not even a big star in his country. His resume blows away Haye and Khan when it comes to level of opposition. Froch is a guy that seems to willing to fight anyone out there.

Too right. He fights decent opposition fight in fight out and gives it his all every time. We can say he is just a bit too boring to be given any attention, but the truth is he interviews very well, and compared to that inbred Amir Khan, is as articulate as Oscar Wilde. He is extremely entertaining both inside and outside of the ring.

I don't think we can just blame the promoter with this, though it has played it's part. I really do think it is down to an ignorance on the part of people who 'follow' boxing and they are ignorant because the media has refused to take part. Froch has come up the hard way with no Olympic medals and so the media has simply not covered him in any great depth. They've missed the ball and never tried to play catch up, and like I say it is a travesty really. Froch should be much more well known.

You just have to look at the way the media covers music. Haye and Khan are the X factor muppets getting all the coverage because they were on the TV. Froch meanwhile is the edgy significant alternative artist that always produces interesting stuff, but the media ignores it. Which records sell? There you go.

its true there is a lack of interest

its a pitty because it has all the make up for a fantastic fight

who wins? abraham is over rated, couple of wins against mirranda, a win against taylor and a win against eastman by far his best, and most of his carear at middleweight, i think froch wins by KO

It's a shame he never got picked up by Sky, otherwise he could have been a big name here by now. I just picked up the December issue of Boxing Monthly today and there's no mention of this fight whatsoever. So I flicked through the last two issues, thinking it might just be because they'd already previewed it. No mention in either the October or November issues either. When such an even, interesting world title fight can't even get a mention in a boxing magazine it's a sad situation.

What it means is what we already knew. The media is a setup.

Now what you should do is never buy that magazine again. You should tell all your friends too, and most importantly spread the news about the ineptness of that magazine far and wide on the internet.

If they do not have the decency to be an effective news provider then they suck. Tell everyone and hopefully they will go bankrupt.

In the meanwhile do what I do and tell the truth about each and every one of Khan's or Haye's future opponents. I exist for the sole reason of telling people what I believe is the truth. If everybody else did that, then we wouldn't have people defending crap like Harrison/Haye.

I'm excited for it. Hook nose could pull off the upset. He is one tough bastard and he hits hard himself, tho Abraham is the more skilled of the two. And has the better defense.

I have to disagree with Abraham being more skilled than Froch, but he does have the better defense. Which might decide the fight, as Froch doesn't have a very good defense, and AA is a guy who you need to show a good defense against, otherwise he'll be taking heads.

Fights need promoting by the fighters themselves heavily, which is absolutely not what Froch does. Hence, the lack of any column inches in a paper.

Anyways, I'm really looking forward to this one. In the words of the imprisoned Charles Bronson, Hold On To Your Fuckin Fillings. I say this will be a war. Can't wait....

In answer to the thread the problem is that many non hard ore boxing fans dont even know the fight is taken place and the reason for this is the fact that it is not been shown by Sky or itv/bbc.

Sad but true because this could be fight of the year.

I don't think it has helped that the fight is in the North Pole either. But that doesn't really excuse the poor hype and television coverage that has being offered

If anyone thinks this is anymore neutral because it is in Finland is kidding themselves, this looks like a Sauerland fight to me.

I would be bad if Froch gets screwed over here, hopefully it will be a fair result.
