Dam forgot this was in Europe doubt there will be a sho stream for it tonight so might as well find out the result. From the sounds of it tho it doesn't sound like it ever turned into the all out fight we expected, which is kind of disappointing but at least I didn't miss a great fight. I don't particularly like froch nor do I see how he keeps winning with his style, but deserves props for doing so.
he won round 3, for the first 3 rounds froch was landing almost nothing (its just that abraham was throwing nothing himself, he was losing by default)
i thought abraham landed some punches in rounds 1 and 2 where froch landed a few body shots and basically hit abrahams arms the rest of the round, i dont like when people just flurry on someones guard, after round 3 tho abraham started actually getting hit and didnt get aggressive until round 12, and even then he went right back to doing nothing and getting hit, fortch landed like 15% of what he threw, but abraham threw NOTHING

i haven't seen the fight yet, but a friend of mine did and basically gave me the wrap, he said that Froch basically controlled the entire fight and that Abraham didn't throw jack shit, compared it to Pacquiao/Clottey, but said that he didn't have it a complete shut out but not far from it, he had it something like 10 rounds to 2
either way props to Froch for pulling off what i'd call a pretty big upset, i still hope Bute sparks him lol
Strange one to get your head around Froch, still dont really like him, still dont think he's that good
Its a shame really because for what he's done over the past 2 and a bit years he should be better known, I doubt this excellent performance changes that.
For someone who's old, slow, doesnt punch as hard as he thinks and blocks with his face he's doing alright![]()
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
Charley Burley
So is Carl our top fighter after that display. He just dominated a world class fighter. Haye and Khan havent done that.

Froch put together an exceptional display of controlled, disciplined boxing this last Saturday. I, for one, didn't think he had that type of focus in him. Literally, he fought the perfect fight. In particular, I was impressed that Carl fought right back anytime AA tried to rough him up. It's testament to how far smarts, grit and determination can take you in boxing. Hats off to Carl - clearly, he made Nottingham proud.
On another note, Froch needs to be considered in the top 20 p4p rankings at this point. In the last two years, he has beat the current light heavyweight champion, Jean Pascal, former middleweight world champion, Jermain Taylor, Andre Dirrell, and now beat former world middleweight champion, Arthur Abraham. Besides the Pascal fight, each of Froch's fights were held outside of Great Britain and Froch was the underdog going into the fights. His only loss was a close loss to Mikkel Kessler and I'd favor Froch in a rematch.
Froch's victories are more impressive to me than what Lucian Bute (Zuniga, Miranda, Andrade, Brinkley) and Andre Ward (Miranda, Pudwill, Kessler, Green, Bika) have done. There I said it.
