I have very little interest in seeing Pacquiao - Marquez III.

How did the Ward - Bika fight play out?

Merchant has no business asking that last question IMO. Totally classless.

I disagree. This fight was a war from the outset and Katsidis deserved the opportunity to continue. I don't want to see anyone hurt in the ring, but Katsidis is a Gatti-type fighter who gets hurt, recovers, and comes back. He didn't get that opportunity in this fight.
Agreed i mean how can you say that was bad call ? honestly Michael Katsidis didn't throw a punch for almost 50 seconds. And he was hit with what ? 30 answered punches ? the ref gave him every chance to throw back and he didn't.
Michael Katsidis is brave but he's too brave for his own good at times, and the ref done him a favour.

Rewatch it again Katsidis was get hit with everything and Bayless could have stepped in then but he let Marquez go at it. Then Katsidis got some space got his legs back and turned aggressive and then landed a short left hook right then Bayless stepped in. I would say it was an afterthought on Bayless' part that made him step in and not Katsidis condition at the moment when he did.

I got drunk and missed all the fights!

I'll watch it again tomorrow but from what i remember JMM landed 6 punch combo off the ropes, Michael Katsidis backed up. JMM was then landing at will Michael Katsidis was just backing up, Michael Katsidis didn't recover he didn't throw a punch for almost 50 seconds, while he was getting hit with every but the kitchen sink.
He was going to be stopped shortly after, i don't see no reason why he should take more punishment. If Michael Katsidis would of thrown back it wouldn't of been stopped, but he threw nothing back and he's head was getting snapped back good call IMO.
