If Arthur Abraham drops out then the Super Six has been a gigantic failure in my eyes. Of course, many of us suspected as much in the begining. It's too harsh a sport to make a long term scheme like this pan out.

A few great fights is fine, but as a wound wobin (Kripke) it's proved itself garbage.

The Supersix has served its purpose, in as much as we now know the top two fighters in the competition. Froch and Ward have proven themselves worthy finalists.

The only thing that has annoyed me is that they kept bringing in substitute fighters when they should have either shortened the tournament or brought back one of the others and changed fixtures around.

It's an absurdity id they make Carl Froch fight Glen Johnson and Andre Ward fight an as yet unnamed opponent in the semi finals. Utter lunacy imo.

Just make the final fight now, Ward vs Froch. If they don't want to shortchange Glen Johnson, let him fight the winner.

But putting obstacles in front of the big final would be idiotic in my mind.

Fair enough you make a great point. It's just a bitch move if it's true.

the format was daft which has taken something way from it

it hasnt been a failure tho, we have had

AA v Taylor, Froch v Dirrell, Ward v Kesser, Froch v Kessler, AA v Dirrell, Froch v AA

thats 6 fights between the best supermiddles in the world, when have we had that before?

It has helped Froch/Ward fight the best fighters in the division and gain some credibility.

it's better that abraham pulled out because i don't think he would have made any difference in the tournament anymore and considering the way he got manhandled last night. i also think he should go back down to middleweight cause those big super middles will continue to eat him up.

Why does everyone lately pull out before they fight Ward?

Very true, this tournament isnt a failure, because Froch and Ward is going to be a classic, I think, and if Glen Johnson fights the winner it would be great as well.

Losing Abraham isn't a loss, imo because his last fight just showed where he stands, he's lost 2 in a row, he doesn't deserve to be near the final. Ward vs Froch is going to be great. These fights served their purpose and why should the losers fight each other twice? Who really wants to see Abraham vs Ward or Froch again?

Andre Ward has won twice, and Froch has won twice, they've won the most in the tournament, so they SHOULD fight each other, these other fights between were just a formality, if it gets this final over quicker im all for it .

Abraham says in an interview with Bild that Wegner will stay as his trainer and that he is considering going back to middleweight, because at super middle the other fighters are all bigger than him and he would always be the smaller boxer...

AA had big problems making weight at middleweight and most middleweights are at least taller than AA,so IMO its a stupid idea going back down...

If it is true, Johnson and Bika should fight for an mandatory spot to fight the winner after a propose big fight with the winner of the Super 6 against Bute.
