I thought good stoppage too. The outcome wouldn't have changed at all if it had gone on other than to remove the T off the KO.

Marquez had already got up from the best KAt had thrown at him ,that wasnt going to happen again at that stage; Jms chin was the same, Kat wasnt the same at that stage.

Standing 8? Fucking idiot. The stoppage was fine. On point. Katsidis threw like what 2 punches that whole round? He was taking to many flush shots. At least 3 times his head snapped back violently. He was done. The fight in itself was one-sided. Except for 15 seconds in round 3 Marquez dominated the fight. Bayless is an outstanding referee. He made the right call. That fight goes any longer and Michael is hanging with his brother.

the reason why it was over for katsidis and he had no hope of even landing a haymaker in that last round was because marquez had taken his legs away by attacking his body so violently in the earlier rounds. not to mention his face was busted up by marquez' crisp combinations. you could tell by the 7th round or so, katsidis' punches had nothing on them because of marquez' body attack.

Kenny Bayless is still my favorite ref, he is just on top of the action.
He doesn't mind getting a little close, but knows when to back up.
He also doesn't mind giving "hard" warnings like he did against Shane in the 8th round against Mayweather.

Standing 8 or the ref taking time to check and see if the fighter is OK by taking a look at him giving a lull in the action is the same fucking thing...Just because they don't have the actual standing 8 rule (And that is not true either because some smaller sanctioning bodies still alloow it do some research before opening your mouth) they are still getting a break that amounts to the same thing....Either way don't call me a fucking idiot and think thats OK and your cool because your not....

But I guess they don't stop and check the fighters either anymore? You have never seen a fight where the ref stops for a minute to look at the fighter if he is taking a beating even if there is no cut to ask a question or look in his eyes....And it usually ends up being more then a hell of a lot more then 8 seconds

Calling me names actually I should say cursing towards me like I am some second rate kid that he grabs money off of at the local JHS during lunch then runs before they can use the order of protection filed against him to their benefit becauser calling me names I can care less about but that was just flat out disrespectful and no need for it because I have not treated him in that way but he is what he is and nothing anyone but his Juvie officer can do to help change that...

Ummm daxx sorry to butt in but generalbulldog and milmascaras1 are two completely different individuals. generalbulldog seems like a nice chap based on his posts. milmascaras1 though, well I can't say much about him in a positive sense. don't take him seriously though. it's his nature to be a clown of sorts. Now you know I ain't got no problem calling you names. And vise versa. We done it many times through out the years. But there's a reason I didn't quote you Daxx. Cuz I actually wasn't talking about you. I was actually referring to the idiot who first mentioned the Standing 8. Which wasn't you.
