In particular, I was impressed that Carl fought right back anytime AA tried to rough him up. It's testament to how far smarts, grit and determination can take you in boxing. Hats off to Carl - clearly, he made Nottingham proud.

On another note, Froch needs to be considered in the top 20 p4p rankings at this point. In the last two years, he has beat the current light heavyweight champion, Jean Pascal, former middleweight world champion, Jermain Taylor, Andre Dirrell, and now beat former world middleweight champion, Arthur Abraham. Besides the Pascal fight, each of Froch's fights were held outside of Great Britain and Froch was the underdog going into the fights. His only loss was a close loss to Mikkel Kessler and I'd favor Froch in a rematch.

Froch's victories are more impressive to me than what Lucian Bute (Zuniga, Miranda, Andrade, Brinkley) and Andre Ward (Miranda, Pudwill, Kessler, Green, Bika) have done. There I said it.

you should feel proud mate, it was well said

I think people's opinions of froch are influenced because he isnt liked, i think if they could get past the dislike they would have a similar view

its funny that people (boxing fans) dont like him, yes he has a mouth but he has the type of personality that sets boxing appart from other sports and makes this sport so saleable

how many other sports do you get these personalities?

where would boxing be without the froches, RJJs or Eubanks?

It would be even better if anyone knew who FRoch was. This win, like the rest of his career, has made no impression on the casual fan whatsoever.

Froch is not even priced up among the Sports Personality possibles. Not even a mention at a million to 1. He is a complete and utter no-name. Sad

someone picked up on it in another thread, is it because he has a sh|t promoter?

if he had signed with warren he would have been on sky and that probably would have made all the difference

it is sad, he should be making a lot more money than he is
