Holyfield was just as fast or faster in his prime and had just as explosive power at Cruiserweight, he had a higher work rate and incredible stamina, factor in that he had overall better boxing ability and technique, he'd pummel Haye in 7 and do it easily

In a contest between the two just talking about fighting haye in any condition beats evander hands down. In actual fighting i'd say holyfield would beat the crap out of haye. Holyfield actually fights....and top guys when he was in his prime. We all have to beg haye to fight anyone decent and holyfield we have to beg to stop. I wouldn't even put the two in the same class. The only reason haye is even remotely considered is due to the lack of anyone else worth a crap in the whole division. Go back to prime days of evander and we would laugh to even see haye's name in the top 10

Dwight Mohammed Quawi (Evander fought twice, I think) would beat Haye. In retrospect to Holyfield's career you would have a hard time making an argument that Haye could hold a candle in Holyfield's furnace. But, you know guys fight differently at different weights, so it could have been a very competitive fight for all we know.

it would be good to see how Haye would hold up fighting somebody of Holyfield class you never know he may last the distance. (OR NOT)

evander would win......in his prime holyfield brought a firestorm to fights, he was quick himself, huge stamina he would fight the whole 3 mins of a round.......haye has always had stamina prob and a glass jaw......holyfield would have him out of there within 3-5 rounds.........lets not forget haye has fought stiffs at heavyweight.....a prime holyfield would be to much for him

Dwight Muhammad Qawi was a beast and one of the top Light Heavyweight-Cruiserweights, of all time. He basically ended Matthew Saad Muhammad's career as a top fighter. And Evander Holyfield went 15 rounds with basically a Cruiserweight version of Joe Frazier.

Dwight Muhammad Qawi might of been better as a Light Heavyweight, but he was still a beast as a Cruiserweight. And if Evander Holyfield can beat a fighter of that level twice, then David Haye stands no chance.

Evander Holyfield isn't called the best Cruiserweight fighter of all time for nothing, he truly was special at Cruiserweight. And would of probably broke the record for the most successful title defences of all time.

David Haye's stamina isn't that great nor is his chin. Evander Holyfield would drag him into deep waters a drown him round about the 7th round.

Evander in his prime was a totally different animal to ANYONE in the HW division now. He would be way too much for David despite the fact Haye for me has the advantage in speed and power. Evander with his iron chin could take a lot and walk Haye down and for me either finish Haye in the mid rounds or make Haye reluctant to exchange and ultimately win a lopsided decision.
