SADDOBOXING OFFICIAL RATINGS – As of December 1, 2010
CRUISERWEIGHT:
Zsolt Erdei formerly 5th is moved to the pool at 175 due to inactivity at this weight & the fact that his last fight took place there. Everyone rated 6 – 10 last time advances a spot.
LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT:
Zsolt Erdei (formerly 5th at Cruiser) enters the pool as he has moved back down.
SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT:
Carl Froch advances a spot from 4th to 3rd after his dominant decision over Arthur Abraham. Abraham drops a place to 7th after now suffering his second straight defeat. While Robert Stieglitz jumps up one spot to 6th in the reshuffle. Sakio Bika is removed from the pool after his unanimous decision loss to current #1 Andre Ward.
MIDDLEWEIGHT:
Paul Williams plummets 3 places from 5th to 8th after his devastating 2nd round KO loss to reigning champion Sergio Martinez. Matthew Macklin, Daniel Geale & Sebastian Zbik all advance a spot each with Williams’ demotion.
WELTERWEIGHT:
Miguel Cotto (still #7 at 154) & previously #3 here is removed after a years inactivity at this weight. Everyone rated 4 – 9 last time moves up a place. Vyacheslav Senchenko & Jesus Soto Karass move from the pool into #9 & 10 respectively. Freddy Hernandez is removed from the pool after being blown out in 1 round by current #3 Andre Berto.
LIGHTWEIGHT:
Juan Manuel Marquez claims the vacant championship with his 9th round stoppage of Australian Michael Katsidis who entered at #2. Everyone rated 2 – 10 last time advances a spot. Katsidis does not drop as Funeka has not recorded an official win in over 2 years & it would be a push to rate Acosta & Vasquez ahead of the Aussie at this time. Robert Guerrero moves from the pool to fill the gap at #10.
SUPER FEATHERWEIGHT:
Takahiro Aoh jumps from the pool into #9 after defeating Vitali Tajbert. Tajbert is drop from 9th to the pool.
FEATHERWEIGHT:
Hozumi Hasegawa (#2 at 118 ) enters the pool after his victory in his 1st fight at this weight over previously undefeated Juan Carlos Burgos.
FLYWEIGHT:
Daisuke Naito formerly 3rd is moved to the pool after a year’s inactivity. Everyone rated 4 – 10 last time advances a spot. Undefeated Milan Melindo moves from the pool into #10 after his victory over Carlos Tamara who entered as the #4 rated Light Flyweight, but now moves to the pool here after suffering his second straight loss.
LIGHT FLYWEIGHT:
Carlos Tamara formerly 4th is removed to the pool at 112 after suffering his second consecutive loss, this last one to Milan Melindo at Flyweight. Everyone rated 5 – 10 last time advances a spot, with #10 becoming vacant. Manuel Vargas is removed from the pool after suffering another loss, this one in a Flyweight bout to current #1 Light Flyweight Giovanni Segura. Cesar Canchila is also removed from the pool due to inactivity.
MINIMUMWEIGHT:
Manuel Jimenez is verified to stay in the pool. Luis Alberto Rios is removed from the pool due to inactivity.
