    rant,

i was just kidding and it was all in jest! no harm intended. but, it does seem to me that to you, pacquiao can do no wrong. again, i'm not saying he isn't great because he definitely is, it's just that until he chooses to fight fighters in their prime like him, i'll continue to avoid the kool-aid so many of saddoboxing fans are addicted to!

Pacquiao can definitely do wrong. Unlike you, I'm just not hyper-critical of him. I'd prefer him to fight Bradley. I believe that he'll fight PBF, Marquez, Bradley, or Berto before the year is out and we can move beyond this discussion.

Fighters who are nowhere near as known as Marquez, Hatton, Mosley, also done better than all 3 of them. Its funny how boxing works.

Floyd was green (early twenties) in 3 of those fights. Chose to fight instead of box against two of them (chavez & corely) which made it "look" more competitive than it was. Still stopped Chavez.

Judah is the only one I think faced a prime floyd. Meaning the post Gatti floyd.

    rant,

the reason why i'm so critical of pacquiao is because of the senseless accolades he gets from you and everyone else. there is absolutely no question that he's probably top 20 all-time and he could even move up but at no. 5? besides, seems like you and 90 pct. of fans here think he's the next sugar ray robinson or even better!!! look, he's good, no, he's great but you've got to take a time out, quit drinking so much of that tasty kool-aid and carefully analyze his record. sure he's fought big names but most of those big names were well past it already. now that he's no. 1 p4p, he should be fighting younger, more vibrant opponents instead of mayweather leftovers or fighters almost old enough to draw a social security check.

Fair enough. I'm tired of discussing Pacquiao. He's not my favorite fighter and I don't hate him either. My favorites are on that other thread.
