Hatton was chinny? That's ridiculous. He was peppered by a million punches before being stopped by one of the greatest fighters in history - and anyone on Earth that fought Pacquiao like they'd just stepped out of a nightclub at 4am would get wiped out. Fact.

Hatton's chin was fine until after Tszyu.
I think his lifestyle degenerated after that fight and I feel his punch resistance was ruined.
Mayweather was the one to really break his chin for him, but he was hurt by Collazo, Lazcano and even Paulie Mallignaggi before Pac ended him.

In Hattons fight with Lazcano (a career lightweight), I was really shocked at how many times he got wobbled and had to fight through. I was almost in disbelief about the way Lazcano fought and how easily he hurt him with short shots. I think he was very resilient around the waste, but he has a spark zone that is a little light for a world class fighter. He had no lack of heart or recovery ability either.

Junior Jones vs Orlando Canizales = I wouldn't say Orlando Canizales is a 1 hit KO puncher, but i think he has the type of power, to turn a fight around with 1 punch.

Junior Jones vs Jorge Aliecer Julio = Another respectful puncher.

He was noticeably buzzed twice in that fight. He never went down. He never stumbled around like a drunk. He carried on coming forward. It was coming to the end of his career. And hardly a fighter in history hasn't been buzzed.

His style meant he always took a ton of shots. If he was chinny he would have never made it through 40 odd fights without getting stopped.

Did he have a granite chin? No. Did he have a weak chin? No. He had a solid chin that allowed him to only ever be stopped by two greats. That don't make him chinny. Fact.
