SADDOBOXING OFFICIAL RATINGS – As of December 13, 2010
CRUISERWEIGHT:
Grigory Drozd & Herbie Hide are removed from the pool due to inactivity.
MIDDLEWEIGHT:
Previously unranked Garth Wood smashes his way into the ratings thanks to his 5th round KO of Anthony Mundine. Mundine plummets from 5th all the way to the pool with the shocking upset defeat.
LIGHT WELTERWEIGHT:
Amir Khan previously 3rd advances a spot to 2nd after his hard fought victory over #8 Marcos Maidana who remains 8th. Kaizer Mabuza is forced down one place to 3rd.
LIGHTWEIGHT:
Kevin Mitchell is demoted a spot from 8 – 9. Jorge Linares moves up one to take over at 8. Urbano Antillon is verified to stay in the pool after losing a close war with #6 Humberto Soto.
FEATHERWEIGHT:
Ryol Li Lee (still #1 at Super Bantam) & previously #7 exits as he is now campaigning at 122. Celestino Caballero, Daniel Ponce DeLeon & Rafael Marquez all move up a spot, while Hozumi Hasegawa moves from the pool into #10.
BANTAMWEIGHT:
Hozumi Hasegawa (now #10 at 126) & previously #2 exits as he is now fighting as a Featherweight. Joseph Agbeko is now #2 after evening the score with his win over Yonnhy Perez. Perez drops one place to 3. Everyone rated 5 – 9 last time moves up a place with Hasegawas departure; while Nonito Donaire (also #8 at 115) enters at #10 with his destruction of long time Bantamweight contender & Super Flyweight pool member Wladimir Sidorenko.
SUPER FLYWEIGHT:
Cristian Mijares claws his way back into the ratings at 3rd with his unanimous decision victory over Juan Alberto Rosas. Rosas falls 3 spots to settle at 6. Everyone rated 6 – 9 last time moves down a spot to accommodate Mijares’ entry. Long time Bantam Wladimir Sidorenko is removed from the pool after being blown out by #8 Nonito Donaire in a Bantamweight contest.
