The Khan haters would have a field day if he fought McCloskey. He needs to fight bigger names than that.

I think Judah is a decent fight, then get ready for Bradley and Marquez.

Khan haters are gonna hate him no matter what, if you look at the division, MCCloskey is ranked pretty high in some organizations. Besides the fight would be big in U.K.. Unless Khan is just trying to ditch the U.K. boxing scene. I also wouldnt mind seeing Ortiz Vs. Khan, that could be entertaining.

Yeah Khan is in American now on HBO. He's not going to be fighting any unknown Europeans. Judah, Ortiz, Katsidis, Marquez, Alexander and Bradley. Those will be the sort of opponents from now on.

Mate are you serious? Khan would do McClosky within 4 rounds, the guy went to hell and back with Lauri and beat Barry Morrison in his last fight!! Morrison is just about in the top 8 at 140 in Britain.

So he fights Maidana and all of a sudden he's above all these other fighters? Khan record isnt that great man I wouldnt jump to conclusions. Maidana fought Ortiz thats about it, for legit wins for him.

Haha, but it's better than practically every other 24 year olds resume in the sport.

Criticising Khan's resume for a 24 year old is as ridiculous as the Manny haters demanding to know where are all the undefeated, young fighters in their prime on his record since moving to welterweight. Yes indeed, where are they! I can only think of Berto, and even according to Manny's hater's he would be an easy fight because he's not ready and overated.

So it seems Manny can be legitimately criticised for failing to fight potential undefeated prime fighters that don't even actually exist at this time.

Thus it is with Khan, that wins over Barrera, Malignaggi, Kotelnik and Maidana are not good enough and do nothing to detract from the view that his opponents are handpicked.

It's funny in their eyes he avoids all of the real challenges, but at the same time doesn't deserve a shot at those who they think would beat him...

In response to Bilbo, where did I say his record was bad? I said it wasnt that great. Its good but I dont think it puts him a class above anyone right now in the top 10. First off Kotelnik is decent that was legit. The Barrera fight was bs, Malignaggi is a feather fisted poof, and Maidana is highly overrated for his Ortiz win.

Khan has a solid record at 140.

    Malinaggi
    Kotelnik
    Maidana

Three out of his four fights at 140 he has fought three very good top ten fighter two of them for me are top five, McCloskey is over rated he has beat no one near top ten Khan would murder McCloskey imo.
