I don't really agree with that. Zab's always been Zab. He's always had the ability to be brilliant, but he's always been capable of being poor. Just never had the mental capability to be consistent throughout a single fight, let alone throughout his career.

I'm sure when people talk about positively about Zab, they must only be remembering the first round against Tyszyu and the first 3 or 4 against Mayweather, where to be fair Mayweather probably hindered himself with his gigantic comedy gloves.

So basically, on either end of the spectrum you have a solid win over Cory Spinks, and then 2 defeats, where he initially looked good, before losing there-by causing a ring riot. In the middle of that spectrum, you have losses to Spinks, Baldomir, Clottey and Cotto.

So yeah, Zab's always been Zab.
