Walker looked alright when he first popped on the scene against Echols, he has done a nose dive in his recent fights. He tends to cover up too much, doesnt counter that much at all. This should be easy enough for Mayorga I wouldn't worry too much.![]()

I just watched the Guerrero fight on youtube and I remember seein this Walker guy before, I think in the Daniel Jacobs fight, I just didn't remember the name.
He's not a bad fighter, but like you say he just does not let his hands go.
Too short for the weight class as well.
Is this fight on the Ray Austin vs. Oldanir Solis under card ? I think it is.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

Ricardo Mayorga: 'Le tengo rabia a mi rival' - Fanáticos
Fightnews said Mayorga punched Walker then a melee ensuedJust a push then some trash talk but still worth a watch. At the end brief footage of the Cloud-Zuniga & Austin-Solis staredowns.
hell yeah! the human punching bag is back again. Ricardo can certainly help give more color to boxing nowadays.=)

He actually weighed in at 162.5 but he managed to fight a good pace heavier than that against Vargas, although he is a few years older and Walker is a natural middle.
Id love to see it go around 5 rounds and Ricardo get a KO win. Its hard to know how fit he is right now, if he is fit then I dont see this fight being a problem. I think if he gets a good win here, he will be Cottos next opponent and id give Mayorga a seriously good chance there too!
If he does stop Walker before 8 rounds, how shit does that make Andy Lee lookThat a 36 year old semi retired welter can better him!
