Too many people certainly jump in the ring after the fight and take the limelight away from the fighter. There certainly needs to be less people immediately after the fight.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Without cornermen, an accidental headbutt could turn an intriguing and exciting fight into the biggest bummer ever without cutman. I also think it would be a bit fatal for younger promising prospects who are lacking in experience and who need an extra guidance in the ring. All in all: it would remove a lot of excitement and I don't think it would be a good idea.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
A corner man is a must. He sees what the fighter misses. He calms and inspires him. He reminds him of what to avoid and reminds him to stick with the plan. In the frenzy of screaming fans and a body that is in pain, the corner man comforts and urges his charge forward. I would remove one of the most needed people in boxing.
They are part of the team.
I dont think they should be able to call out over the top of the action though.
That annoys me more so in MMA than anything else.
