Without cornermen, an accidental headbutt could turn an intriguing and exciting fight into the biggest bummer ever without cutman. I also think it would be a bit fatal for younger promising prospects who are lacking in experience and who need an extra guidance in the ring. All in all: it would remove a lot of excitement and I don't think it would be a good idea.
