This thread really has derailed and became pretty stupid. Every nation has people that you could pin down to what's been mentioned above, it's ridiculous to stereotype so much.
Guess after years of talks between the two camps people have ran out of things to talk about.![]()
Amen brother! Next person who mentions dodgy British teeth or American lardasses....or Brits with dodgy teeth and lardasses (me) will get a slap.
Looks like both sets of negotiators have been off for Christmas, as no new leaks, people moaning about unreasonable demands or one fighter dissing the other has appeared in a few days. Hopefully 2011 proves more succesful!
I think 2011 will be a tremendous year for boxing. I just have a gut feeling this fight and the Pac-Mayweather fight will happen and quite possibly Khan/winner of bradley-Alexander also.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I cleaned the thread up a bit because I think we need a place to discuss the negotiations for this fight. If you guys want to insult each others nationalities and their associated stereotypes, there are other boards for it.
Both sides are saying that negotiations are going well now. This is good news if it is true. I think the fight needs to be signed within the next week though or Wlad has to fight Chisora. That is a fight the HW division doesn't need after Hayes last mismatch.
Boxing: Negotiations for David Haye-Wladimir Klitschko 'progressing nicely' | The Fabulous Forum | Los Angeles Times
I think Jaws was lucky to even be awarded a shot at a world title, I think it was just a fight organised to try and improve Klitschko's standing and negotiating position in the UK in terms of dealing with Haye. A competitive exciting heavyweight fight would be a very pleasant change to the usual bilge.

Boxing - Klitschko-Haye update
Claims the fight will most likely be in Germany. I would be surprised if Haye agreed to Germany. This could fill Wembley stadium no problem.
Even if the fight gets signed I won't put full faith in it happening until they are in the ring with the ref and the bell to start round 1 rings.
I'll buy the fight for sure though...but I don't think it will be anything close to competitive.
I hope they get a solid undercard for it if its going to be PPV in the US as well.
i would back him in the ring yep, against wlad anyway, i think he only needs to land once, and i reckon thats a foregone conclusion
if your talking about backing him in who is being the girl in the fight negotiations then i have no idea what is happening, and all of the posters who are saying haye is this and haye is that, i think they dont know if he is or he isnt, they are none the wiser than me, they just dont like haye![]()
#1 One has to land AND follow up if they plan to stop Wlad.
#2 Wlad may only need to land once to end this fight.
#3 I don't like the WBA title holder but that's not why I see him as trying his damnedest not to make this fight...just look at how he backed out of the first fight with Wladimir.
