Well seeing how DeGale wants to be a world champion by 2012, the Commonwealth title is obviously going to be the next step so can definitely see this fight getting signed - even if Adam Booth doesn't seem too up for it.
Before the Smith-Degale fight Booth said Groves would be the winner's mandatory for the British title. If that's the case then its a pretty logical fight to have next, as you say the commonwealth is the next step for Degale and he'd get his mandatory for the British out the way too.

I'd fancy Degale to batter him atm, the Smith fight made me believe that he can go a long way while the Anderson fight exposed a lot of flaws in Groves that Degale would have no problem exploiting.
