Nah, he should probably play back more than usual, he's not as fast but still has great placement. He is worth it for free kicks and corners alone. He can still bend it.

Kind of true. Beckham hasn't been a proper player in years, he is more a marketing symbol than a player. I don't even understand why he has been so marketable. He strings a sentence together like James Toney and does these kind of male semi-pornographic photos to boost the income. Who is that appealing to exactly?

When he was healthy this last season he was an absolutely an essential cog in the machine. I know the MLS is a lower league, but he definitely was a huge contributer this season in set pieces and for distribution.Kind of true.
