Guillermo Rigondeaux vs Willie Casey

Casey was not favoured to win the European title against scheduled opponent Kiko Martinez.
Many were surprised when he beat actual opponent Paulie Hyland for the strap.
Guillermo Rigondeaux is in a different class to either of those fighters.

I would truely love to see Willie Casey win though.

1. He never faced Martinez so I don't get your point there

2. Who favoured Hyland over Casey? Casey was a 4/7 so who was surprised? Everyone I saw predicted a Casey win?

Like Skel said Casey was a big favourity when Hyland stepped in for Martinez, it was a really shoddy bit of matchmaking which the EBU probably shouldn't have allowed to proceed for the European title. The reason he was a scheduled underdog v Martinez is that he was probably going to get beat. Like he is in this fight.
