I think he is dishonest and clearly treats the sport as a business only. Going on recent form history will not treat Haye kindly and he shows little sign of trying to prove himself the best. The Klits have it all wrapped up. Haye will not only go down as a liar, but also a bit of a joke as far as HW is concerned.
So Chagaev and then retirement, eh Haye? Lame.

Shows the lack of value in the dollar if he's made "tens of millions" (though I would love someone to do the maths, work out the actual cut of Sky etcs that he gets), popular? He seems to be like marmite in that respect. As much as I dislike David Haye; all publicity is good publicity.
He is very savvy when it comes to self promotion.
The boxing world has been talking about him and Wlad for over two years now - and it was all down to Haye's mouth.

As for the second part, in boxing being popular is always a good thing. In a sense, the whole sport is one giant and corrupt popularity contest.
