True...they are a bit trigger happy...but this from some reason...just doesn't shock me that much. I'm disappointed because I wanted to see him face Oscar or Hatton...next in line being Margarito...but I suppose that maybe this was a one way shot at filling the date?

I don't know. Cintron's a big puncher & all...but I just don't rate him as highly as most do.

No one knows what's going on in a fighter's head though. Maybe Floyd wants Cintron as a barometer for Margartio...I don't know though.

I wouldn't have passed up that "Arum $8 mill no strings attatch deal" if all was on the up & up for the Margarito fight. Who knows for a fact what the deal was though.

I suppose we shall all just sit back, relax, debate, & wait & see.

Maybe it's a set up to the fight & theyr'e trying to hype it up...theyv'e been in contact quite a bit lately (Arum, Margarito, Floyd) & they could be building it up...make it mouth watering & turn Margarito into a name outside of the small circles.

Agreed. I'm a huge Mayweather fan...& I can't see the logic of fighting Cintron...a former victim of Margarito...I seriously doubt that there are many dollars & cents/sense involved in this one.

Agian...I wouldn't be shocked if this is all a build up.

I have no idea what Floyd is thinking, if this is indeed true. It's chickenshit, and Im a big fan of him. I think if he actually is fighting this guy, it is just a safe fight because he believes he will still fight DLH in May and doesn't want to risk it whatsoever. But that's pretty weak, and this fight isn't until November either, Cintron... What a joke. If Floyd took this fight in two weeks notice then I could maybe understand. The only other thing that's kind of funny is..... If this fight does go ahead, then Floyd went for DLH... Can you imagine how pissed off Margarito would be? I mean, Floyd doesn't ever fight him, just takes the guy he beat easily in his biggest fight instead as a tune up for his mega fight? I think that almost might be a part of it, Floyd might just be trying to spite Tony's camp or something. This is a big let down though, Floyd shouldn't have any defence for this one. I mean granted his last fight was a big one and a dangerous fight against Judah, but if he's only going to fight twice a year then he needs to fight the best, not lame tune ups.

If Kermit still had his '0' then maybe this might generate the neccesary numbers, but as it stands Kermits 'damaged goods' aint he?

They'd have to try and sell it as a competitve fight based on Kermit having a punchers chance...but Floyds embarrased so many noted bangers that it's a complete no brainer for me.
