Cool interview because he did not ask the usual questions and therefore very enlightening. Glad he is a Barcelona fan. Also did not know he had officially retired.

Awesome interview Robert! I really enjoyed that especially when someone (you) I get to talk to interview one of my favorite fighters. I dont know if you remember Mick but I think it was a few years ago, I had said to you that I would trade N.Donaire to get I.Vasquez

Damn that sucks... Would have been cool to finally meet up.
I've met DPDL several times but he's really quiet and you almost gotta take the words out of him. He's always around so I might give it a go next time.
No I didn't see or talk to Sizemore.
Thanks for taking the time to read and comment.

RM: Thank you Israel I'm enjoying it myself.

You coulda got a slap there! hahahahaha

Great stuff mate... to be fair in my experiences with interviewing fighters they have all been sound and very approachable.

Only one who wasn't was Audley Harrison!

    Arrogant!
Cheers! fella and I agree most boxers have been very approachbale.
Only two people have been distant that I've seen Duran (To be fair the amount of people around him was overwhelming) and Michael Buffer (Buffer to 2 friends of mine at different times)

I def. like the sound to it also... But I think the name/tag has been used already.

Damn Mick I need a slap. Slept on this. Your mellowness comes across. Just a casual talk Love it!!
I like his perspective on the Ref reaction and being conscious of it when buzzed and hurt...keeps a fighter looking ahead and getting his wits quickly ? Interesting pov. Great read and insight.

    real quick...are those leather pants

The only reason I know of Parkinson is because I saw the show on YouTube when Robin Williams was on there.

Cheers Spicoli appreciate the time to read and comment.
I agree I had never thought about it that way about a fighter hitting the canvas.

No not leather, I bought these about 8 months ago when they 1st came out.
They are 7Diamonds Denim Decadence Millenium jeans.
Look like leather and almost look but it's actually denim.

I like the way you talk about the Larios rivalry it seems it means more to him that RMM.

Just got round to reading it. Izzy seems like a nice guy. Very good interview mate.

Can you do one with Mayweather please?
