Khan spoke of bringing the big fights to the UK. Well this can't be considered a big fight, it's highly disappointing especially considering Bradley or Alexander would be next. Peterson was a decent enough name to be considered acceptable at this stage. Considering the talent at 140, McClosky hasn't done enough to get this fight. I like him, he's a decent fighter but really he should be alot further down the que to get a shot like this.
f it I'm not going to hate on khan for this, if he wants an "easy" homecomming fight after maidana go for it...earned a lot of respect in my eyes for that fight. just as long as he fights a name opponent again next time out. only thing that really sucks about it if reports are true is that of all fights this is the fight to stop wlad-haye from happening![]()

It's gonna be real funny if McCloskey beats Khan, oh man am I gonna talk some shit.

I haven't gotten the chance to look up McCloskey, but from what I've read, he sounds like a well-rounded, level footed, textbook fighter. As long as Khan doesn't get careless and keeps up with Ariza's training regiment, I don't think he'll have much a problem and possibly close the curtain before round three. But then again he's got a badass Irish name and is fueled with "Mc" blood, so it might not be that easy.
Edit* Just looked the southpaw up. He's got a powerful straight left hand :O. The experience he's gained from sparring Pacquiao should come into play in this fight.
