Guzman epitomises disrepect to boxing. He is officially on my boxing hate list, along with his trainer Lee Beard.... F**k em both..........

Lee Beard should definately get a lot of shit for this as one of his primary tasks is to make sure his fighter is on weight.

Guzman's still nowhere near as high on my least as people who have competed using performance enhancers or loaded gloves...

Don't like Lee Beard, totally confirmed that he was a complete dick when he was smirking and grinning when Guzman was 9lbs over on the scales against Funeka. He should be fined also, just because of that case when he thought it was amusing to come in overweight. idiot.

Yeah, Guzman is a huge waste of talent, a disgrace to boxing even, but a great talent nonetheless. I'd still back that guy to cause some big upsets (if he could make weight ).

The only surprise about this to me is that he even got caught. I know quite a few amateur fighters and a guy who isn't even competing, he only practices, who take banned substances and/or PEDs. Heck, a pro guy I know said he had never even taken a masking agent when he was taking a PED because he said the test is easy to beat with what he was taking. Everybody knows the testing is outdated and yet it they keep it ancient. I wonder why. Its a lot more widespread than what we are lead to believe. Boxing doesn't want to fix the problem because of the fear it would expose big/huge name guys. That would compromise the business that boxing has become.
