But I don't even recall seeing a Pac vs Mosley thread for at least the past 3 weeks....

If he was fighting just about anyone else, there would have really been constant small amounts of chit chat and hype all the way up to the fight, as it has been for the past couple of years of his career...

But this just confirms that boxing fans think this fight is a total DUD.... yeah yeah I know, everyone is going to say thank you Captain Obvious...
But even past that, it's lost Pac any interest in him even outside the fight... Suddenly people stopped caring what Pac named his new dog, or which friends birthday he attended on the weekend..

Really shameful, and I absolutely confirm I am really not looking forward to this fight... I see it being a really sad fight from the perspective of someone who really likes Shane Mosley... I like he gets a pay day, but otherwise I feel this fight will damage him..
But mainly, I just think it a total bore to take an all time great at the peak of his career and performance and influence, and make a fight that zero fans really give a sh!t about...

I hope the PPV numbers reflect the level of interest on here, and they get serious with his next fight...

    Diz out......
The fight is old news...The closer it comes the more people will talk about it....People have heard enough about Manny and Floyd for the moment...There is plenty of other action right now worth talking about....Does not MATTER HOW LITTLE PEOPLE ARE SPEAKING OF IT THE FIGHT WILL SELL AND THERE WILL BE A SHIT LOAD OF MONEY MADE BY ALL INVOLVED.......

As for Manny and the peak of his career and not giving him a fight fans care about has nothing to do with Manny it has to do with the Media and Mayweathers....Manny can fight both Klitschkos in one night...Fight Haye the next night....KO Martinez on the way to the airport with Freddie and guess what...Fans and bullshit media will still say the only fight that matters is one with Floyd.....

So Manny should fight whoever is willing and if they make a paYDAY OFF LOSING TO HIM THEN SO WHAT....People forget how many fighters made career high paydays off of DLH.....

I think you under-estimate the power of politics and over estimate fight fans opinions over causal fans buying power. Mark my words, this fight may out sell Pac vs DLH.
